In Memory

Carol Messer

Carols passing was a huge shock to all who knew and loved her. Her friends and most of all her family will miss her more than words can describe. She is now in Heaven with those that also love her very much, her Parents, a Sister Barb and a Brother Randy. Carol you are in my thoughts and in my heart more than you will ever know. Love, your Sister Debbie

It's such a sad, sad, moment when we read a classmate has died.  I knew Carol & her family seems forever. I moved away, and lost touch but did see her at a few reunions. She looked exactly the same.  Carol was my first roommate when we moved out of each other's childhood homes. It was such a big deal! We felt so grown up. My thoughts are with her family.

It is difficult to comprehend when someone our own age leaves this earth before us. No matter how old we get, we think of ourselves as, young-ish. Those that had the pleasure of knowing Carol's sweet spirt, have been eternally blessed. I extend my deepest sympathy to Debbie and the rest of your family as I share in your sorrow.  I also share in the fond memories Carol left with us. Though I left Springfield in '75, and never saw Carol again, I know she would have been a wonderful Mother and Grandmother, and her legacy continues. Thank you for touching my life Carol, I am a better person for it.
