GRABILL, Sr., John I. (Ira) 57, of Springfield, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014, supported by his family through his battle with cancer. John was born April 23, 1957 in Springfield, Ohio. Preceded in death, his parents Ira Grabill and Alice McCurry, and his brother Steven Adams. He has three siblings who survive; Mike and RoAnn Adams and family, Sally and Richard Overholser and family, and Karen and Tom Brandt and family. Lived life with his surviving wife, Terry. Also shared his life with their three kids; John Jr. and Amanda Grabill, Stacy Roberts and Shawn, and Steven Grabill and Shalina. John is also survived by nine grandchildren; Nicholas Walker, Courtney Grabill, Kristen Harris, John Tyler Grabill, Haley Hall, Dane Grabill, Dylan Grabill, Julia Roberts, and Izabella Grabill. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10-12 on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER with funeral beginning at 12. Burial to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
